Jim Stellakis uses his 20+ years of capital markets strategy experience to generate investment ideas for Mashup’s clients.  Jim provides those wealth managers and RIAs with his unique insight, what Jim calls “Narrative Analysis.”  While Jim is armed with fundamental analysis tools, he then identifies over/underconfidence in the marketplace by searching out “narrative bubbles,” herd mentalities that parrot last week’s news.  Through his unique narrative analysis techniques, Jim helps his clients understand when markets, sectors, industries, trends, and even individual equities are over or under heated, providing them with advantageous positioning and timing. 

Before founding Mashup, Jim provided market analysis for investment firms such as Touradji Capital, Catequil Asset Management, Millennium Partners, and Bear Wagner. Over the years, Jim has contributed content to Bloomberg L.P’s global news divisions. And currently, Jim provides advisory services to wealth management teams and fundamental investors.  

Jim received a B.S. in Finance from St. John’s University in New York and resides in Connecticut.
